Bids for bond work at six elementaries due Aug. 31
Aug. 4, 2017 - The Board of Education of Arlington Independent School District will receive sealed proposals for two bid packages of bond-funded renovations. One package includes Hill and Swift Elementaries (CSP 18-20), and the other includes Pope, Speer, Webb and Wimbish Elementaries (CSP 18-21). Bids for both packages are due Aug. 31, 2017.
About the project
The package includes adding two STEM labs, a strings room and security vestibule at each elementary, along with life-cycle and deficiency upgrades.
Bids
Bids are due Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017, by 2 p.m., and should be delivered to the AISD Purchasing Office at the JW Counts Administration Building located at 1203 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, TX 76013. Late bids cannot be accepted according to law. Be sure to see the bid documents for full instructions.

Pre-proposal meeting
A pre-bid meeting will be held Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Swift Elementary (1101 S. Fielder Rd., Arlington, TX 76013).
There will be one meeting to cover both CSPs. Tours of the schools will follow the meeting.
