Construction underway at Amos and Atherton Elementaries

December 12, 2017 - Bond-funded construction is underway at Amos and Atherton Elementaries. Work started just before Thanksgiving with demolition in the rooms that will house STEM labs and strings rooms.

Both schools are getting renovations to provide two STEM labs, a strings room and a front-entrance security vestibule, among other improvements. Each will also receive a number of other life-cycle and deficiency upgrades, including, improvements to ADA accessibility, technology infrastructure, mechanical systems, plumbing, parking and roof. Each K-pod will also get some renovations, with with new heating and AC, flooring and roof.
