Dec. 16, 2017 - Jones Academy first-grade students performed the first winter holiday show ever presented at the new Jones Outdoor Performance Area Thursday evening. Despite the chilly temperatures, students danced and sang as they performed "Snowmen at Night."

Jones Academy underwent major bond-funded renovations last school year to turn the Jones building into a state-of-the-art facility for fine arts. The Outdoor Performance Area, an amphitheater funded through a partnership with Texas Trust Credit Union, was a part of the upgrades and opened last spring.
