AISD hosts info meeting for contractors about future Fine Arts Center and Athletics Complex

June 14, 2018 - The Arlington ISD and HKS Architects hosted a meeting yesterday about plans for the future Fine Arts Center and Athletics Complex. The informational meeting, held in the Arlington High School cafeteria, was in advance of the release of the architect's drawings, which is scheduled for June 27. Architects from HKS presented the plans and offered details. Consultants on the job, including civil engineering, landscaping, structural, roofing, electrical, HVAC, pools, and acoustics, also highlighted their areas.

The schedule for bidding on these projects was also announced:
June 27 - release documents
July 9 - Pre-bid meeting, 2 p.m., AISD Admin Building
July 11 - Issue first addendum
July 17 - Last day for questions (Questions should be submitted in writing to Tammy Craig.)
July 23 - Issue final addendum if necessary
