Construction underway at Starrett Elementary
June 20, 2018 - Bond-funded construction kicked off last week at Starrett Elementary. Imperial Construction is managing the work designed by Natex Architects.
The scope includes adding two STEM labs inside the existing building, in what were the science and art rooms. Classroom 401 will become the new art room. Updates for the music room will include a designated strings area. A new wall will divide the music room from the new strings room. A new security vestibule at the entrance will be added, along with renovations in the clinic and office. In addition, the building will receive a number of other life-cycle and deficiency upgrades.
Construction is scheduled to conclude in the winter.
