The Arlington ISD is setting up a reunification site for Bowie High School students and families at the Arlington ISD Athletics Center at 1001 E. Division, 76011. All Bowie students inside the school will be bused to the reunification center. APD has not released students from Bowie. We will let you know as soon as we have a time.

What about students that have their car on campus? Will a parent need to pick them up from the athletics center?
What if parents nor emergency contacts are available to pick up and student drives to school?

Full Details- Wednesday afternoon, a shooting incident occurred on the campus of James Bowie High School in Arlington, Texas. The incident happened outside the school building, as one person was shot and taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound. The school was immediately placed on lockdown as a precautionary measure. Police arrived at the scene and began investigating the incident. The lockdown delayed student dismissal as authorities worked to ensure the safety of everyone on campus.
