Charity Whatley Counselor: alpha AVID/IB M-Z
alpha: AVID/IB M-Z
Room 612

My passion for being part of a child’s education began while I was studying at Oklahoma State University. I began my teaching career in 2011 and continued teaching varied math courses for over five years. Within that time, my focus in education shifted to school counseling and I began my Master’s studies at Texas Wesleyan University and soon graduated with a degree in School Counseling in 2016. After teaching Algebra here at Bowie for the first half of the 2016 school year, I accepted the vacant counseling position where I am greatly looking forward to helping kids find their full potential, reach their goals, and achieve their dreams.

“Keep away from people that belittle your ambitions. Small people will do that. But the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.”  – Mark Twain
