The 2014-2015 school year marks my 7th year at Bowie High School, my 13th year as a school counselor, and my 17th year as an educator. Prior to becoming a school counselor, I taught middle school language arts and was a reading/language arts instructional specialist in Dallas ISD. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University in Human Development and Family Studies, a Master of Arts degree in Professional Development (community counseling & behavioral studies) from Amber University, and a Master of Science degree in School Counseling from Amberton University. I strive to make an impact in the lives of young people and empower them to make good decisions. I hope to influence my students in a positive way and to serve as a student advocate. It has been a pleasure to work with the students of Bowie High School, and I look forward to having another awesome school year! GO BOWIE!
