Campus Role: Teacher
Campus Team: Agricultural Science
I joined Arlington ISD in the Fall of 2014 for my second teaching position as an Agricultural, Food, and Natural Resources teacher after serving as a AFNR teacher and FFA Advisor in Burleson ISD. I am a very proud AHS Alumni from 2009 where I was very active in FFA, NHS, NTHS, Mu Alpha Theta, & PALS. In the Arlington High FFA chapter I found not only my love for teaching, but my high school sweetheart. My wife and I were married in the summer of 2013 and I could not be happier. In February of 2016 we received a precious gift in the birth of our first child. Her name is Gracie and we are very blessed to have her and all her cuteness.
I fell in love with Agriculture in high school. Agricultural Science is very practical and is based in common sense and basic skills that are beneficial to all students. I loved the hands on learning and the practicality of the subject and took every possible Ag-Science course offered. I really didn't know what I wanted to do when I "grew up" upon graduating high school. I saw that my Ag Teachers, Mr. and Mrs. Polster, had fun teaching, so I figured I'd would try it out. I am so glad I did. I love my job!!
