InspirED, who sponsors the CTC GO Center, hosted the CTC’s first annual FAFSA Night for students and parents October 1, 2018. Parents and senior students packed the Tiered Seating eager to complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on its opening night for students entering college (including trade and technical schools) for the 2019-2020 school year.
Although there were technical difficulties on FAFSA’s side, due to opening night volume, parents and students were prepared for the application process. Due to these difficulties in completing the application that night, the CTC and InspirED will host a FAFSA Lab Night on Thursday, October 11th from 6pm to 8pm. This night will be an open lab event, with InspirED mentors on hand to assist parents and students in the application process.
