Acts of Kindness

The Arlington ISD is once again happy to be part of the Kindness Initiative in the city of Arlington. The city rewards acts of kindness and the district plays a big role.

During the school year, the city’s Community Relations Committee makes pep rally stops at schools throughout the AISD to honor students, teachers and classes for their acts of kindness. It could be an expression or action given from one to another that stretches beyond, but it may also include common courtesy. Students receive everything from tickets to baseball games to skating parties. Staff members receive meals for their acts of kindness, too.

Our students and staff will be surprised throughout the school year at these Kindness Pep rallies, and you can stay up-to-date on them by checking out our Flickr album throughout the school year.

Arlington ISD is committed to growing whole and well-rounded young adults who are prepared to excel in college, career and beyond. The district’s mission is that every one of its more than 57,000 students will graduate exceptionally prepared for college, career and citizenship. With top educators, an outstanding core curriculum, a growing number of specialized programs and state-of-the-art facilities, the opportunities for all students from pre-K through high school are endless.
