August 8, 2019 – The construction site of the new Wood Elementary library addition has been a busy place over the summer and significant progress has been made. All the structural steel and metal framing is up, and the new library is scheduled to be completed in the late fall.
Inside Wood, the old library is being renovated and transformed into two new STEM labs. Other interior renovations underway this summer include new carpet in the K-pod, renovations in the admin area, new water fountains, restroom renovations and new data cabling. Most of this work should wrap up by the end of August.
These projects are funded by the 2014 Bond program.
