Deborah Vation has a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a Master of Science in Social Work. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker. Her previous work experience includes a Parole Officer for the State of Texas, a Court Reporting teacher, and a supervisor/ counselor at Welcome House Youth Services. She currently resides over the Martin High School Network.

Her responsibilities include: providing prevention and intervention services, providing outside counseling resources, coordinating services with parents and other agencies, providing drug awareness education for school staff, parents, and the community. Services are available to students in grades K-12 as needed or requested.

She has a heart for the students. She wants to see them be successful in every area of their lives. She wants to see students reach their goals and make healthy decisions. It is important to resist peer pressure. It is a team effort. It takes the cooperation and participation from parents, students, and the school.
