Description: The C.C. Miao & Rosalind Miao Scholarship provides scholarships for graduating high school seniors and current college students attending any accredited college or university in the state of Texas. Applicants must be from the North Texas area (Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Navarro, Palo Pinto, Parker, Rockwall, Somervell, or Wise county) and must be of Chinese ethnic heritage - either born in China or Taiwan, or born in the United States and have parents or grandparents who were born in China or Taiwan. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Selection is based on academic achievement and financial need.  Multiple scholarships are awarded each year, ranging from one to four years.

Don't Mess with Texas Scholarship

Description: In partnership with Keep Texas Beautiful, the organization is currently accepting applications for the 2020 Don’t Mess with Texas Scholarship, which recognizes the work of high school seniors in the state who are taking a leadership role in preventing litter in their school and/or community. Through the program, one $5,000 scholarship, one $4,000 scholarship, and two $3,000 scholarships will be awarded to Texas high school seniors planning to pursue a two- or four-year degree at an accredited college or university in the state. Masonic Scholarship

Description: The purpose of this scholarship is to assist qualified students with their first year of tuition to a college or university to help them reach their career goals. The scholarships will be in the amount of $1500, and if the student attends Tarrant County College (TCC), completes at least 12hrs/semester, and maintains a 2.5 GPA for the first year, TCC will match the $1500 covering tuition expenses for the second year. Students do not have to attend TCC, but that is the only school providing matching funds. One scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior at each public high school in Arlington.

Men and Women Of Influence Leadership Teams

Description: If you are a graduating senior, who is a member of Destiny Pointe or a AISD student, you are eligible to apply for our scholarship. Write your essay based on the subject matter listed on the application. Please fill in completely and return the application, official transcript copy, recommendation letters and essay on or before the deadline. We will make our selection, notify the recipients and award the scholarship at our annual graduation celebration service in June or at our Back to School Bash in August. Your GPA, community service, extracurricular activities and essay will be used to determine who we award the scholarships to. Four scholarships will be awarded. Awardees are to present proof of college/trade school registration prior to receiving award.
