The application is requiring me to submit a TEA Certification/Program Letter. I am not a certified teacher.
You do not need to be certified in order to substitute. However, the system does require that you attach something for this field. We suggest that you attach an additional copy of your transcripts, but classify the type of attachment as TEA Certification/Program Letter.
I submitted my application, but have not heard back from anyone.
Here are the most common reasons for a delay in processing your application: you have not attached your official transcripts, you have not completed the Gallup Assessment, or you have not completed a digital interview.
What if I’m not able to attach my transcripts to my application?
We prefer that you attach the transcript to your application, but understand that it may be difficult for you to do so. You may email it to subservices@aisd.net, fax it to 682-867-4684, or bring it to us in person at 1203. W Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, TX 76013.

Do I need to renew my substitute badge every year?
Substitute badges are not renewed every year. If you have lost your badge, or it is poor condition, please contact the substitute office at subservices@aisd.net to schedule an appointment to take a badge picture.
When am I paid?
Substitutes are paid on the 20th of the month for the full month prior of work. For example, all of the days/hours you worked in September will be paid on October 20th.
