Here are a few important reminders:

\u2022 Must cover the waist while standing
\u2022 No pajamas, sleepwear, or loungewear
\u2022 No offensive clothing, jewelry, or accessories

\u2022 Dresses, shorts, skirts, and skorts must be fingertip length or longer
\u2022 Slits in skirts, dresses, and skorts are measured from the top of the slit
\u2022 Pants must be worn at the waist\u2014no sagging

Please help us keep all students safe by following our dismissal procedures:

\ud83d\ude98 If you need to get out of your car:
Please pull over to the left or right side of the drive-through lane and park before crossing the entryway. This helps keep traffic moving and prevents students from running across the driveway to reach their families.

\ud83d\udccd Dismissal Locations:
\ud83d\udc26 Pre-K: Dismisses from the Pre-K pod and classroom door
\ud83d\udc26 Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade & 6th Grade: Dismiss along the front drive-through
\ud83d\udc26 3rd Grade, 4th Grade & 5th Grade: Dismiss through the back parking lot and north drive

Students may only be picked up by adults listed in the Contacts section of their electronic student record.

All Fitzgerald Firebirds will enter the building through the front doors each morning. Help us keep our students safe by following our arrival procedures and being mindful of others in the drop-off line.

\ud83d\ude97 If you need to get out of your car to help your young Firebird:

Begin adjusting bedtime and wake-up times a little earlier each day. Sometimes it takes several days for our bodies to adjust to a new schedule, so starting the transition now can help make that first early morning rise a little smoother.

Our Firebirds are growing up fast and earning their wings! \u2764\ufe0f\ud83d\udc99 As our students build confidence and independence, we are excited to celebrate Independence Day on the second day of school \u2014 Thursday, August 13.

On this day, students will practice an important step toward independence by:
\u2728 Walking themselves to class
\u2728 Entering the building without parent\/guardian assistance.

Don\u2019t worry \u2014 our Firebirds will have plenty of support! \ud83d\udc26 Our campus staff and student leaders will be available throughout the morning to greet students, provide directions, and help anyone who needs assistance.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to spread their wings, gain confidence, and start building the independence they need to soar! \ud83d\udd25

The first day of school is an exciting milestone for our Firebirds, and we want to make the morning arrival experience welcoming, smooth, and successful for all of our students and families! \u2764\ufe0f\ud83d\udc99\ud83d\udc26

This year, Arlington ISD will have a standardized first-day welcome experience at all elementary schools to help create a consistent and welcoming start for every student and family across the district.

On the first day of school from 7:45\u20138:10 a.m., parents and guardians may enter the building without a Raptor visitor badge or Fast Pass.

Families are encouraged to:
\u2728 Walk directly with your child to their assigned classroom
\u2728 Take a brief moment to help your child transition
\u2728 Say goodbye and help your child start a successful day of learning

Our campus team will be ready to greet families, provide directions, answer questions, and help everyone feel welcomed on this special day! \ud83d\udd25
