Lynn Hale’s Annual Multicultural Night and Celebration!

On Friday, May 19th, students, and their families, as well as faculty and staff, came together to celebrate the many different nations and cultures that comprise our Lynn Hale family. Each grade level shared the history, culture, and “flavor” of a different country and families and staff were given the opportunity to taste foods and drinks from each country and to hear the music and dance the dances that represent each culture.

Countries and areas represented this year were Lebanon, Jamaica, Mexico, several regions of Africa as a whole, Somalia, Vietnam, China, and the United States. Lynn Hale’s community had a great time dancing and listening to reggae, learning about the significance of the gumboot dance in South Africa, eating tabouleh, jerk chicken, and so much more!
