Principal - Katiuska Herrador
Katiuska Herrador has been the Principal of Jones Academy of Fine Arts and Dual Language since 2015. She is a former bilingual teacher and instructional specialist with over 15 years of experience as a campus administrator. Ms. Herrador is passionate about public schools, language and arts education, leadership development and bringing the fun in schools. Ms. Herrador has participated in two leadership programs at The Principals’ Center at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and is currently engaged in a Campus Leadership Program with The Holdsworth Center. Ms. Herrador is very proud to serve the Jones Academy community. Ms. Herrador loves to watch her two daughters, former students of Jones Academy, perform and play sports. As a family, they love to play, swim, sing, dance, read and watch movies.

Assistant Principal - Marisa Guzmán
Ms. Marisa Guzmán is joining Jones Academy from Katy Independent school district where she has been an instructional coach since 2014. With over 20 years’ experience in education, Ms. Guzmán has taught bilingual 4th grade and has experience teaching Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st grade. She is particularly passionate about bilingual education and STEM (Science Technology Engineering & Math) education. In her free time, Ms. Guzmán enjoys reading and spending time with her family and two rescue dogs. In addition, she loves the outdoors – bird watching, hiking, fishing, and cycling. Ms. Guzmán is happy to be a part of the Jones Family.
