*Students must be present in the classroom prior to the bell to prevent being marked tardy for the day.

Absences
Attendance is recorded by 10:15 each morning. Students not in the building at this time will be recorded absent for the day. Please call the school office to inform us of your child’s absence. This will allow us to excuse the absence. If a child is absent for three consecutive days, a doctor's note is required to excuse the absences.
Tardiness
The school day begins promptly at 8:20 with morning announcements. Any student who is not in his/her seat by this time will be sent to the office for a tardy slip. Students arriving late miss classroom instruction and morning activities. Please ensure that your child arrives promptly to school each morning.
Early Pickup
Parents must check in with the front office and request to pick up their child from school. Persons wishing to pick up students during the day must have a state-issued photo identification.
Students arriving at school after the school day has begun and students leaving school while school is in session (including lunch periods) must check in and out of the school office accompanied by an adult. Students who fail to check out during the school day will be considered truant.
Our priority is student learning. Students are not permitted to miss class in order to attend siblings' extracurricular events.
