If you have not been added to counselor canvas, please notify your counselor. Important information regarding academics, scholarships, and events are shared on the platform throughout the year.<\/p>\n

Recommendation Letters<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Many scholarships and colleges require students to submit a recommendation letter. Please make sure to provide your counselor at least one week to fulfill a recommendation letter request.\u00a0 You must provide your counselor with either this completed form<\/a> or a copy of your resume.<\/p>\n

Forms<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Forms for currently enrolled students including, Social Security forms, child support letters, housing forms, insurance forms and records for immigration\/deferred action\/dream act are all done in the Main Counseling Office and require 24 hours to process. If you have questions, please call 682-867-8621.<\/p>\n

Records for Former Students<\/h3>\n

AISD campuses do not keep copies of diplomas or records. Former students can order records from Records Management online by visiting www.aisdtx.scriborder.com<\/a>. If you need to order a replacement diploma, contact the Main Counseling Office at 682-867-8621.<\/p>\n

College and Career Readiness<\/h3>\n

Our department is available to provide support to all students in efforts to explore and pursue college and career opportunities. In alignment with the vision and goal of AISD, we aim to ensure that 100% of Martin High students graduate prepared for college, career, and citizenship.\u00a0 Each student can access Xello through his\/her ClassLink Account.\u00a0 Xello provides students with various Career Interest Surveys and College Exploration to help students begin to set goals for the future.<\/p>\n

Counselor Visits<\/h3>\n

Students can see a counselor for any reason from academic, college and career support to social emotional support. We are here to advocate for our students and to be your support system at school.\u00a0 If you would like to see us, please email us or come by the counseling office with a pass from your teacher.<\/p>\n

Information on recovering lost credits<\/h3>\n

Students that have previously not passed a required course for graduation have multiple ways in which that credit can be redeemed. Students can work in Credit Recovery either during school or after school, depending on the child’s schedule. This is an online computer program that allows students to make up work from missing six weeks. Another option for redeeming lost credit is summer school. Summer School registration opens in May. Further information will be announced through the class Canvas pages.<\/p>\n
