Assistant Principal - Nathan Tave
Hello, my name is Nathan Tave and this will be my 13th year in education. I started my career teaching Social Studies at Fort Worth Dunbar Middle School and from there taught at the Dallas Can Academy. I served as Dean of Students for Uplift Education Hampton Preparatory, and later transitioned to a 3rd grade teacher at Thomas Haley Elementary School in Irving I.S.D. Most recently, I was a 6th grade Social Studies teacher at Thomas Edison Middle School in Dallas I.S.D. This will be my first year at James and Barbara Adams Elementary School to serve as Assistant Principal. I am really excited to work with the great students and families of James and Barbara Adams Elementary School.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Jarvis Christian College. I also hold a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Concordia University in Austin Texas. I do consider myself a life-long learner.
I reside here in the area with my wife Shaylea and my son Ethan. I am truly honored about getting the chance to come back home to AISD, as I am a proud graduate from Arlington High School. I look forward to serving the Adams community.
