Welcome to Arlington ISD’s Advanced Academics page.
These Advanced Academics resources will help you navigate what’s available to support Gifted and Talented (GT), Dual Credit, Advanced Placement (AP), and International Baccalaureate (IB). Between March 30th - April 10th, Phase 2 learning experiences will provide students with access to district-selected learning experiences. These activities were organized and designed by the Academic Services department to help reinforce learning that has already occurred this school year and will not involve any new instruction.
Elementary GT Services
Elementary students in grades K-2 will use Seesaw and paper packets to receive academic support in the coming weeks. In addition to these supports, GT students in grades K-2 will work on the Pursuit of Passion project found in the resources link below and in paper packets distributed by AISD. GT students in grades 3-6 will use the Renzulli platform to enrich learning throughout the spring. Happy exploring!
Secondary Advanced Academics Services
Secondary students in Advanced Academics programs have additional considerations and tools to enhance their advanced learning. Those supports and guidelines can be found in the resource tab below.
