I am responsible for the PEP Program (Pregnancy, Education, and Parenting), which is a dropout prevention program designed to provide support services that will enable students to remain in school while also tending to the needs of pregnancy and/or parenting. I am also responsible for providing instructional and support services for students required to be at home prior to and after delivery through the CEHI program (Comprehensive Education Home Instruction).
I assist students with transportation, childcare, individual and group counseling sessions, information, and referrals to resources in the community, prevention education, and go on home visits when necessary. Through this program, I also provide a “Store” where students can purchase items needed for their children through a point system.
I am also the Family Engagement representative for this campus, a PAL sponsor, Career Day Coordinator, and Night School Administrator.
