For more than 16 years, Nurse Nixon has been highly committed to improving the lives of students. She takes quite seriously her support staff role as Nurse. She offers information, resources, and care for students, families, faculty and staff. She is committed to the pursuit of academic excellence at Venture School while teaching about healthy lifestyle habits and understanding body function. She is also a community health resource for parents. She works as a health liaison between home, classroom, community and the healthcare system. She welcomes interest from students, parents, staff and members of the Arlington community.
