8:20 AM to 3:35 PM
7:45 - Students may enter building to sit by classroom doors or go to cafeteria
There is no adult supervision for students before 7:45 AM.
For the safety of all children, do not allow your child to arrive at school before 7:45.
8:10 - Classroom doors open
8:20 - School begins (tardy bell)
11:20 - PreK a.m. dismissal
12:35 - PreK p.m. begins
3:35 - Dismissal
ABSENCES
Attendance accounting is completed by 10:00 a.m. each morning. Students not in their classrooms at this time will be recorded as being absent for the day. Please call the school office to inform us of your child’s absence. This will allow us to excuse your child's absence. If a child is absent for 3 days in a row, a doctor's note is required to have the absences excused.
TARDINESS
The instructional day begins promptly at 8:20 a.m. Any student who is not in his/her seat by 8:20 a.m. will be sent to the school office for a tardy slip. To ensure that your child gets the BEST education possible, please have him/her to school by 8:15 a.m. Missed instruction will negatively impact your child's education.
Early Pickup
Parents must check in with the front office and request to pick up their child from school. Persons wishing to pick up students during the day MUST have a state-issued photo ID.
Students arriving at school after the school day has begun and students leaving school while school is in session (including lunch periods) must check in and out of the school office accompanied by an adult. Students who fail to check out during the school day will be considered truant.
