Feb. 10, 2017 - Construction of the future Agricultural Science Center started this week with site erosion control and groundwork. Funded by the 2014 Bond Program, the Agricultural Science Center will provide a state-of-the-art facility for agriculture education and house agriculture science projects for AISD students.

Located off Pioneer Parkway in Dalworthington Gardens, the 23,00 square-foot, net-zero facility will include 54 flexible-fencing pens for goats and sheep, 14 heifer pens, rabbit pens, animal exercise area, metal construction lab and two classrooms. The site and design also allow for future expansion if needed.

Scheduled to open in the fall, the Ag Center's construction is being managed by Ratcliff Constructors, following designs by VLK Architects.
