Project Status: Complete

Construction of the first bond project at Kooken - adding a security vestibule and remodeling the front office - is complete.

The second bond project - lifecycle and deficiency upgrades - is now substantially complete. The roof was replaced and the cafeteria floor was rebuilt. Restrooms were renovated to improve accessibility, and most water fountains were replaced. New platforms around the courtyard were built to hold 21 new roof-top HVAC units. The parking lot was demolished and replaced with concrete, and the gym floor was redone.


Project Scope

Bond-funded work at Kooken is being done in two stages. The first stage includes adding a security vestibule and remodeling the front office. The second stage includes a number of life-cycle and deficiency upgrades.
