Email Toni Worley

Toni Worley is currently the Piano/AP Music Theory teacher at Arlington ISD’s Center for Visual and Performing Arts in Arlington, Texas. She has a music education and piano degree from the University of North Texas, graduate work from Texas Woman’s University and Texas Christian University and has been teaching since 1974. She came to Arlington in 1981 and began teaching choral music at Young Junior High for 4 years, and Lamar High School for 35 years. Toni is a member of TMEA, TCDA, and ACDA. She was awarded the CVPA Teacher of the Year, an AWARE Foundation award, Who’s Who of American Teachers, Honorary Texas PTA Life Membership and the Certificate of Merit for Outstanding American Teachers.

When she is not busy teaching or keeping up with her family, she gives of her time as an accompanist, accompanying Region concerts, community events, UIL contests, and her church orchestra. She enjoys working with choirs, adjudicating and presenting at music conferences.

Toni Worley LOVES teaching, and believes her greatest joy is in inspiring her students to create and love music!
