Help me Welcome Ms. Banyard to the Williams Family.

This will be my 7th year teaching kindergarten. I am from Little Rock, Arkansas and I am proud about it. I come from a sports oriented family, so I am a bit of a fanatic. I love them all, but basketball is my heart. I read all the time. My current bucket list item is visiting all 50 states, and I have 20 left. Above all, my family is my happy place and I cherish every moment with them.

Help me Welcome Ms.

What a busy month for Flat Will the Wrangler! Throughout June, Flat Will traveled near and far, representing Williams Elementary and creating incredible memories along the way.
⚾ Flat Will kicked off the summer by cheering on the Texas Longhorns Softball Team in the Women's College World Series with Ms. Molina.
🐻 Flat Will then headed to Montana, where he joined Deputy Superintendent Dr. Collins on an exciting adventure. Together, they visited a Grizzly Bear Rescue, getting an up-close look at one of Montana's most famous animals. Flat Will also explored the beauty of Yellowstone National Park and made a stop at the President George W. Bush Presidential Center.
🤠 Closer to home, Flat Will enjoyed adventures in Fort Worth with Mrs. Albright.
📚 Flat Will continued his learning journey by joining several Williams Elementary staff members at the CAMT and Elevate National Conferences, where educators collaborated and learned new ways to support student success.
🚆 Across the Atlantic, Flat Will traveled through Europe with Mrs. Brown. Along the way, he rode on a train for the very first time and sampled a variety of delicious new foods.
🏊☕ To wrap up June, Flat Will enjoyed some summer fun with Naomi Y., spending time swimming and making a stop at Starbucks for a refreshing treat.
We can't wait to see where Flat Will travels next! Keep sending your photos and stories to help us share his adventures with our Williams Elementary community all summer long.

Join us in celebrating Mrs. Hartung as she steps into her new role as an Alternate Curriculum Teacher at Williams—congratulations! 🎉

My name is Cori Hartung, and this year marks my 22nd year of teaching in Arlington ISD. During my career, I have taught Pre-K for 15 years, Early Childhood Special Education for 3 years, and Resource/Inclusion at Williams Elementary for the past 3 years.

I have enjoyed teaching students of all ages and watching them grow, learn, and gain confidence. Along the way, my students have taught me many valuable lessons as well.

This year, I am excited to begin a new role as an Alternate Curriculum Teacher. I look forward to this new adventure, building relationships with my students, and helping them reach their full potential.

Outside of school, I have been married for 24 years and am the proud mom of a 22-year-old daughter and a 20-year-old son. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family, and hanging out with our two dogs. 🐾

Congratulations to Ms. J. on her new role here at Williams!

Hi everyone! I’m so excited to be the new GT teacher this year! I’ve been teaching for 10 years in K–3, and I’m excited to start my 4th year at Williams in this new role! I’ve loved getting to know the students, staff, and families here over the past few years, and I’m so excited for this new adventure and opportunity to work with students in a different way. I’m looking forward to helping students grow, think creatively, explore new ideas, and have lots of fun while learning along the way. Outside of school, I love spending time with friends and family, cheering on the Dallas Stars, grabbing coffee, reading a good book, and traveling whenever I get the chance. I’m always up for trying something new and making memories along the way! I can’t wait to see what this school year brings and am so excited to learn and grow together with everyone at Williams!

Join me in welcoming Mr. Ramirez to the Wrangler family!

My name is Enrique Ramirez and I am very excited to have the opportunity to work at Williams Elementary. The 2026-2027 school year will be my tenth year as a teacher. I have taught 3rd grade, 5th grade, and special education. I love being a teacher. My two biggest inspirations to teach are the movie "Mr. Holland's Opus" and the book Thank you Mr. Falker by Patricia Polacco. I am originally from St. Louis Missouri (go Cardinals!) but have lived in Texas for the past 17 years between Houston, Fort Worth and attending college at the University of North Texas. My fiancé and I love animals and have a dog, three cats, some amphibians and some fish in our home. Outside of school, I love baseball and fantasy football, fishing and playing with my dog. I have a twin sister who has her PhD in Chemical Engineering and now lives in Chicago.
