After-School Programs
The Arlington ISD Elementary after-school program is celebrating its inaugural year! Our goal is to provide high quality after-school programming to support our Arlington ISD students and families.
Serving pre-K 4 through sixth grade at elementary campuses, along with pre-K 3 at Kooken Educational Center, the Arlington ISD Elementary after-school program provides high quality, structured after-school enrichment at all 53 elementary campuses.
In partnership with our three after-school program providers: Boys & Girls Clubs of Tarrant County, Girls Inc./Tarrant County Kids and the AMA YMCA, the Arlington ISD elementary after-school program offers fun, engaging activities for students to support our families.
Overview:
All 53 Arlington ISD elementary after-school program sites operate Monday-Friday, from the time school is dismissed until 6 p.m. However, at selected campuses, dismissal from the after-school program is at 6:30. Below are campuses that have after-school programs that end at 6:30:

- Bryant
- Farrell
- West
- Burgin
- Fitzgerald
- Wood
- Corey
- Little
Boys & Girls Clubs Campuses:

The Arlington ISD elementary after-school program is free to all participants who qualify. In partnership with our after-school providers, each after-school program at each campus is overseen by a site director provided by the after-school provider, while having the support of at least one Arlington ISD staff member as campus manager.
The goals of the Arlington ISD after-school program is to provide academic enrichment/tutoring, social emotional learning, positive behavior intervention, physical activity and a nutritious snack or meal.
Pre-Registration:
Prior to official enrollment into the Arlington ISD elementary after-school program, pre-registration must be completed for acceptance into the after-school program. A parent/guardian must complete a pre-registration form for each child to attend the after-school program. Furthermore, once accepted into the program, a registration packet from the after-school provider must be completed prior to participation in the after-school program.
Pre-register for the Arlington ISD elementary after-school program
Students will be accepted for participation in the Arlington ISD elementary after-school program based on the Arlington ISD elementary after-school program rating system, up to capacity of each school’s program. Once the Arlington ISD elementary after-school program has reached capacity at a specific campus, students not accepted for participation will be placed on a waiting list, in the same order of priority, and will be accepted for participation as space becomes available.
If you need further assistance regarding the pre-registration process, you may contact Shaun Grant, coordinator of after-school programs, at sgrant2@aisd.net.
