On March 11, 2021, the American Rescue Plans (ARP) Act was signed into law. In it, the U.S. Department of Education is providing an additional $121.9 billion for the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER III Fund). This legislation will award grants to state educational agencies (SEAs) for providing local educational agencies (LEAs) with emergency relief funds to address the impact that COVID-19 has had, and continues to have, on elementary and secondary schools across the nation.

Review the Plans Above and Provide Feedback for Consideration

Arlington ISD routinely reviews the developed ESSER plans to ensure its efforts and resources are aligned to student needs. As part of that process, we welcome and seek feedback from our stakeholders. Please see the linked plan currently in place and use the form below to provide your feedback for consideration. Thank you for your support of the students and staff of Arlington ISD.

Request ESSER III Funds

The ESSER III fund request form is required for all ESSER fund considerations. When requesting funds, this document should be completed in its entirety, signed by the requestor, supervisor and division head, and submitted by email to Julie McGuire for committee review and approval. The ESSER III fund request review committee will meet monthly and notify requesters of approvals.

The meetings are scheduled for the 1st Thursday of each month from 1-2 p.m. at 690 E. Lamar Blvd., Arlington, Texas 76011
