I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree from Midwestern State University. I played football there as well. I initially wanted to be a police officer, but given the climate around that job I had a change of heart and wanted to contribute to my community in a different manner.  I decided to teach and coach. I’m glad to say that this is the one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. I am a 4th generation teacher. I began my Teaching/Coaching career in 2019-2020 in Irving. I currently teach Government and Economics at Arlington High. I love being able to have real conversations with our Seniors and get their perspectives on life, while also giving them a few nuggets of knowledge they could use before they leave here to take on the world. As for coaching, I've been around sports my entire life, especially football. I played at the college level and had great coaches along the way who have given me a bounty of knowledge. All I want to do is pass that knowledge on to our athletes and learn from them as well.
