These outstanding educators are stepping into important roles and are ready to make a meaningful impact across our district.
At Joey Rodriguez Junior High School we’re excited to welcome two new assistant principals who bring deep experience and a shared commitment to student success. Michael Ball brings more than a decade of instructional leadership and a strong record of supporting junior high learners. Alongside him, Rylee Russell‑Bruton adds a rich background in student support, social studies education, and campus culture development that will further strengthen the Rodriguez community.
At Sam Houston High School two dynamic leaders are stepping into assistant principal roles. Rito Herrera brings diverse experience spanning elementary, secondary, and college-level support, paired with a deep dedication to serving students and families. Joining him is Tamandria Johnson, whose work as an instructional coach and English teacher reflects her passion for empowering learners and supporting strong instruction.
We’re excited for the growth, innovation, and positive change they’ll help lead throughout Arlington ISD!
