Coach Short is an incredible educator. She is determined to connect to all students and motivates them to learn new skills. Pearcy is blessed to have her here!
Coach Short says:
“This is my 20th year of teaching and my 10th year to teach Physical Education. I am excited to be returning Pearcy and continuing many of our traditions that we started last year. A few of these include: 21 day healthy eating challenge, Turkey Trot, Sport Stacking Day, Kid's Heart Challenge, Field Day and many more. I've been happily married for 27 years, and I have 3 beautiful children.”

Ms. Pogue is our new 5th grade teacher. We are so excited to see all the things she brings to Pearcy!
Ms. Pogue says:
"Greetings to All! My name is Ms. Pogue. I am a young professional that loves
life. I have a BA in Spanish and a minor in English with an ESL endorsement and a ...Masters in Business Administration. I love Mathematics and teaching; and I care about the well being of all my students. My dream is for students to become life-long learner who are passionate about education."

Ms. Raven is our wonderful Teaching Assistant. She is the definition of team player. She is always willing to do what is needed for students to be successful! Pearcy is a better place because of Ms. Raven!
Ms. Raven says:
"Hey everyone! I am Ms. Raven!! I found part of my purpose ...when I started at Pearcy for four years as a teacher assistant in PE and currently as the instructional teacher assistant. I am originally from Southwest Louisiana. I am eager to work alongside our teachers and students this school year! Can’t wait to see those beautiful smiles daily!"

Mrs. Kelley is our wonderful music teacher. She works hard making sure all students not only learn about music but experience it. Pearcy is blessed to have her!
Mrs. Kelley says:
"My name is Krystal Kelley. This is my fifteenth year at Pearcy, and my eighth year as Pearcy's teacher. I am married with one daughter in college. My hobbies include genealogy, crocheting and playing my flute in flute choir. I believe that all students are musicians and that music classes give students opportunities to grow emotionally, mentally, and culturally while also providing a support system of peers. My goal is to instill necessary life skills such as self-discipline, self-expression, responsibility, patience, and teamwork. It is my hope that students leave Pearcy with a love of music that will carry on for the rest of their lives."

Ms. Rosenstein is our wonderful ECSC Prek teacher. She works incredibly hard for all her students. We are lucky Ms. Rosenstein is at Pearcy!
Ms. Rosenstein says:
"This is my 23rd year to teach Early Childhood Special Education at Pearcy STEM Academy! I love the global Pearcy I enjoy establishing a rapport with our families as we work together to help our students reach their individual potential. When not attending to work related activities, I enjoy spending time at home with our rescue pets, cooking, trying new foods, reading, photography, antiquing and watching “cozy mysteries”."

Mrs. Jones has been our kindergarten teacher for many years but this year she has chosen to go and teach Prek. She brings a lot of experience and knowledge to our Prek program. We are so blessed to have Mrs. Jones at Pearcy!
Mrs. Jones says:
"I am a Pre-K Teacher at Pearcy. I have ...been a Kindergarten teacher at Pearcy for 10 years. I have a Master’s Degree in Education from UTA. My passion is teaching young children and spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy reading, traveling and learning!"

Welcome to Mrs. Stewart! She is going to be one of our wonderful Prek teaching assistants at Pearcy! Pearcy is very lucky to have Ms. Stewart here!
Mrs. Stewart says:
"Hello my name is Stephanie Stewart and I am excited to be at Pearcy this year. This will be my 3rd year in AISD. ...I have worked many years in Preschool outside the school district. Walter and I have been married 22 years and we are now empty nesters. Except for our 2 dogs Winston and Louie. Our daughter and son-in-love are in the process of adopting a sweet baby boy and we are overjoyed to be first time grandparents . Our son is a Hospital Corpsman in the US Navy. We are very proud of our family. I am looking forward to getting to know you all and working at "the best school" ."

Welcome to Mr. Guzzone. He is one of our wonderful 6th grade teachers. We are so happy that you are at Pearcy!
Mr. Guzzone says:
"My name is Mr. Guzzone, this will be my 9th year teaching. I began my career with the DISD in 2014 and then taught in FWISD for 3 years. I enjoy acedemia,... reading and walking my dog. I am most excited looking forward to teaching with the AISD community of teachers and learners. Lastly, I am looking forward to my new home; Pearcy STEM Academy. Shalom."

Welcome Mr. Rocha! Mr. Rocha is our 6th grade teacher. We know that he is going to be such an amazing addition to our school.
Mr. Rocha says:
"Hello! My name is Mauricio Rocha, I was born and raised here in Dallas, TX son to immigrant parents from Mexico. Growing up I always tutored ...and explained things to others for as long as can remember from my siblings to all of my friends. Inspiring the next generation is the greatest investment one can make and I look forward to investing time and energy to my new community!"
