Good evening Amos Eagles!Please help me welcome our new PE teacher to the “nest”- Mr. Blake Tufts!!Hello, Amos Elementary staff!My name is Blake Tufts, and I am excited to join the Amos team as the new Physical Education teacher. As a proud product of Arlington ISD who still calls Arlington home, this opportunity is especially meaningful to me. After 14 years of teaching elementary PE, it feels like the right time to come home, and I couldn't be more excited to be a part of the Amos family.A little about me: I've been married to my wife, Carin, for 18 years, and we have two amazing kids. Our daughter, Ramey, is a sophomore at Martin High School, and our son, Bowen, will be a sixth grader at Duff Elementary this year. Like most PE teachers, I enjoy sports and staying active. I also work part-time for the Texas Rangers, so if you ever need a ticket hookup, feel free to ask! I'm looking forward to meeting each of you and working alongside an outstanding staff.
