We had so much fun this week celebrating our students during advisory with our Pickles, Popcorn, and Punch incentive! Students with six or fewer tardies and no suspensions enjoyed free time and used their Bear Bucks for snacks. We are proud of the positive choices our Bears are making!
Please continue encouraging your child to arrive to class on time and make good decisions each day so we can celebrate even more students next time.
We also hope to see you at Open House on Tuesday, March 3rd. This is a great opportunity to meet teachers, visit classrooms, and learn more about your child’s progress.

Open House will be held on Tuesday, March 3. Please join us from 6:00pm - 7:00pm to visit classrooms and connect with teachers.
We ask that visitors park in our north parking lot and enter through the cafeteria doors. We will have signs posted directing you to the appropriate door.
Bowie Open House will be held on Monday, March 2nd. We invite our incoming 9th graders (current 8th graders) and their families to join us at 5:30 PM for an informational session highlighting our academic programs and club/organization opportunities. Report cards will be coming home with students on Monday! Please take a few minutes to review them together and talk about goals for the next grading period. Remember, you can always check grades and attendance anytime through the AISD Parent Portal.
Next week, we’ll also celebrate Black History Month with themed dress-up days. Students are welcome to participate, but all attire must remain in dress code. We also have a few helpful reminders about appropriate shoes and clear water bottles to help keep our learning environment safe and focused.
