Barnett Families,

Next week, we are excited to celebrate Autism Awareness Week with themed dress-up days that promote understanding, inclusion, and support for all students. We encourage students to participate while continuing to follow the dress code.

We also want to remind families that progress reports will be distributed on Friday through advisory classes. This is a great time to review your students’ grades, celebrate progress, and discuss goals for the remainder of the grading period.

Thank you for your continued support of our students and staff.

Barnett Families,

🌟📣 We're completing our 2026 STAAR Season with a Pajama Day tomorrow! 🎉

Students can wear their PJs, but must still follow dress code and NO BLANKETS. Please encourage your student(s) to get a good night's sleep, eat a good breakfast, and be on time tomorrow for our STAAR Math Assessment for all grades. 🐻💤 #BearPride #PajamaDay

Barnett JH Families,

This week, students will take the Math STAAR assessment on Tuesday. To ensure a secure testing environment, the campus will be closed to visitors.

Please help your student be prepared by ensuring they get a good night’s rest, eat breakfast, and arrive on time.

We are also seeing a significant increase in tardies, sometimes multiple times a day. Students have 4 minutes between classes and should not linger in the hallways. We also follow the 10/10 rule, which means students are not permitted in the hallways during the first or last 10 minutes of class. These expectations help maintain safety, security, and maximize learning time.

We ask for your support in reinforcing the importance of being on time, every class, every day.
