🎓🏐 What a Way to Close Out the Year! 🎓🏐
The last day of school at Foster Elementary was one for the history books! We sent our students into summer with big smiles and high energy. ☀️✨
Here is a glimpse of how we celebrated:
🏐 6th Grade vs. Staff Volleyball Game: We kicked off the day with an epic showdown on the court! The energy in the gym was absolutely electric, and both teams played their hearts out.
👏 The Traditional Campus Clap-Out: High-fives, loud cheers, and pure pride filled the hallways! We had the incredible honor of welcoming back graduating high school seniors who started their education right here at Foster. They walked the halls one last time alongside our amazing 6th graders, who are officially off to junior high next year!
From our youngest learners to our returning seniors, the Foster family bond is forever. We are so proud of our promoting 6th graders and our graduating alumni. Go change the world, Falcons! 🎓🌟

¡El último día de clases en la Primaria Foster fue de lo más divertido! Despedimos a nuestros estudiantes con grandes sonrisas y mucha energía. ☀️✨
Aquí les compartimos un vistazo de cómo celebramos:
🏐 Partido de Voleibol de 6.º Grado vs. El Personal: ¡Comenzamos el día con un enfrentamiento épico en la cancha! La energía en el gimnasio estuvo absolutamente eléctrica y ambos equipos lo dieron todo.
👏 El Tradicional Pasillo de Aplausos (Clap-Out): ¡Los pasillos se llenaron de chocar las manos, porras y muchísimo orgullo! Tuvimos el increíble honor de dar la bienvenida de regreso a los graduados de preparatoria (seniors) que comenzaron su educación aquí mismo en Foster. ¡Ellos recorrieron los pasillos una última vez junto a nuestros maravillosos alumnos de 6.º grado, quienes oficialmente se dirigen a la escuela secundaria (junior high) el próximo año!
Desde nuestros estudiantes más pequeños hasta los graduados que regresaron, el vínculo de la familia Foster es para siempre. Estamos muy orgullosos de nuestros alumnos de 6.º grado que avanzan y de nuestros exalumnos que se gradúan. ¡Vayan a cambiar el mundo, Halcones! 🎓🌟

📚 What an Amazing Year in the Foster Library! 📚
As the school year winds down, we are looking back at all the incredible learning, discovery, and imagination that happened in our library hub! Our students have been busy reading, creating, and exploring all year long.
Check out our Library Snapshot for the 2025-2026 school year:
📈 4,997 Total Check-outs! We were this close to 5,000! Way to go, Foster readers!
🏆 Top Titles: Graphic novels ruled the school! Our students couldn't get enough of Dog Man and Baby-sitters Little Sister.
🎨 Beyond Books: Our 3rd–6th graders turned the library into a creative lab—making their own paper, diving into character studies, exploring visual storytelling, and drafting original creative writing.
🎉 Unforgettable Events: From the Winter & Spring Book Fairs and Family Check-Out Nights to the smash hit The Masked Reader (Season 2!) and our first-ever Foster Flow poetry contest.

A medida que el año escolar llega a su fin, ¡estamos recordando todo el increíble aprendizaje, descubrimiento e imaginación que ocurrió en nuestra biblioteca! Nuestros estudiantes han estado ocupados leyendo, creando y explorando durante todo el año.

🏆 Títulos más populares: ¡Las novelas gráficas reinaron en la escuela! Nuestros estudiantes no se cansaron de Dog Man y Baby-sitters Little Sister.
🎨 Más allá de los libros: Nuestros estudiantes de 3.º a 6.º grado convirtieron la biblioteca en un laboratorio creativo: fabricaron su propio papel, realizaron estudios de personajes, exploraron la narración visual y redactaron escritos creativos originales.
🎉 Eventos inolvidables: Desde las ferias del libro de invierno y primavera y las noches de préstamo familiar, hasta el gran éxito de The Masked Reader (¡Temporada 2!) y nuestro primer concurso de poesía Foster Flow.

🏈 Foster Art Goes to the Big Stage! 🎨
Foster Elementary was in the house at AT&T Stadium! We are so incredibly proud of our talented student artists who were featured in the Dallas Cowboys | Arlington ISD Art Program exhibit.
The reception honored collaborative works that recognize the power of student achievement through the arts. It was a world-class experience for our kids to see their creativity displayed in such an iconic venue! 🌟
A huge thank you to our amazing art teacher, Mrs. Rivera, and our principal, Mrs. Burden, for attending and supporting our students at this prestigious event.

🌟 A Night Full of Talent at Foster Elementary! 🌟
Our campus was absolutely buzzing last night for the Symphony of Talents Fine Arts Festival and Asian Heritage Night! It was wonderful to see so much hard work on display—from the beautiful performances by our Strings and Choir to the impressive GT Showcase and the high-energy dances from our 1st graders. 🎶💃
Amidst all the excitement, we had a very special celebration in the library to reveal our Foster Flow Excellence List! 📖✨
We are so proud of our Top 25 poets who were recognized with their posters, and a huge congratulations to our overall contest winners:

History was made today at Foster Elementary! 🌟 Our talented young writers finally got to hold a piece of history: the very first edition of "Foster Flow," our school’s inaugural book of student poetry.
Watching these students flip through the pages and find their own names and words in print was a moment of pure magic. These aren't just students; they are officially published authors! We are so incredibly proud of their creativity, courage, and "flow." ✍️✨
🏆 BUT THE EXCITEMENT ISN’T OVER!

¡Hoy se hizo historia en la Primaria Foster! 🌟 Nuestros talentosos jóvenes escritores finalmente pudieron tener en sus manos un pedazo de historia: la primerísima edición de "Foster Flow", el libro inaugural de poesía estudiantil de nuestra escuela.
Ver a los estudiantes hojear las páginas y encontrar sus propios nombres y palabras impresas fue un momento de pura magia. ¡Ellos no son solo estudiantes; ahora son oficialmente autores publicados! Estamos increíblemente orgullosos de su creatividad, valentía y su talento. ✍️✨
