📖 The "Foster Flow" Has Arrived! 📖
History was made today at Foster Elementary! 🌟 Our talented young writers finally got to hold a piece of history: the very first edition of "Foster Flow," our school’s inaugural book of student poetry.
Watching these students flip through the pages and find their own names and words in print was a moment of pure magic. These aren't just students; they are officially published authors! We are so incredibly proud of their creativity, courage, and "flow." ✍️✨
🏆 BUT THE EXCITEMENT ISN’T OVER!
Who made the Top 25? The big winners will be revealed next week! Join us for the Symphony of Talents Fine Arts Festival and Asian Heritage Night to see if your student’s poem took a top spot.

🌟 Get Ready for Foster Elementary's First Annual Poetry Contest! 🌟
We are thrilled to officially announce our poetry contest for students in 3rd through 6th grade! Here is everything you need to know to help your young poet share their voice and creativity.
📅 Important Details & Dates:
Deadline: All poems must be submitted on or before April 10.
How to Submit: Students will submit their poems via a Google Form during their library time or in class.
💡 Tips for a Winning Poem (What the Judges are Looking For!):
Creativity & Originality: We love unique ideas and fresh imagination!
Theme & Message: The poem should have a clear, thoughtful message that resonates.
Language & Voice: Encourage the use of descriptive words and strong, genuine emotion.
Form & Polish: A good structure and checking for spelling/grammar mistakes go a long way.
Bonus Points: Students can earn extra points for adding an illustration or showing extra effort!
🎤 The Big Reveal: May 7 Fine Arts Festival
Winners will be revealed at the Fine Arts Festival! The top 50 poems will be beautifully displayed on posters. We will also host an open mic in the library where students are invited to read their work aloud.
