Help me extend a warm welcome our new PreKindergarten Teacher Assistant, Mrs. Edna Davidson!💚
Hello Little Rascals Family,
My name is Edna Davidson, and I’m absolutely delighted to share that I’m joining the JBL family as the new Pre-K teacher’s aide!
I was born in Scotland and lived there for 30 years before moving to the USA in June 1999 with my husband. I can’t believe it’s been 26 years already!
For most of that time, I was a stay-at-home mum and the biggest cheerleader for our three wonderful kids. In the past 18 months, I have been working as a substitute TA, in AISD. My hobbies include traveling, cooking, board games, and watching sports—especially soccer and college football.
I’m truly excited to be working at Little, alongside the BEST teachers, who care deeply about every single child. I absolutely adore the “babies” and love how curious their little minds are. Being able to work with them every day is a dream come true!
Help me give a warm welcome to our new 6th grade Science teacher, Julie Miller! 💚
Hello Little Rascal Family:
My name is Julie Miller, and I am overjoyed to be a part of the JBL community. I bring to you a love and passion for teaching and being a role model to young students. I will join the team as the new 6th grade science teacher.
My husband, Ryan, and I have two daughters, Olivia and Meghan. We love exploring nature, arts and crafts, cooking, and traveling to Galveston.
This year will start my 6th year as a teacher. I graduated from UNT with a degree in education. I have spent the last 4 years teaching science. I look forward to meeting you, working alongside you, and being a part of this wonderful 6th grade team.
Help me welcome our new Kindergarten Teacher Assistant, Liz Tarrant!
Hello JB Little Family,
For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Liz Tarrant, and I’m thrilled to be joining the kindergarten team as a teacher assistant this year! After spending time subbing at Little and having all three of my children go through kindergarten here, I realized it’s truly my favorite place to be!
I graduated from Abilene Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Human/Child Development and Family Studies. I’m so excited to be stepping into a school setting and supporting our amazing kindergarteners and teachers this year.
My husband, Chris (a proud Watch D.O.G.S. dad), and I have twin daughters who will be juniors at Martin High School. Ten years later, we were blessed with our sweet son, who will be starting 1st grade at Little this year. When I’m not at school serving as the PTA president, you’ll likely find me cheering on one daughter at a cross country meet or track event, and supporting the other as she cheers with the Martin cheerleaders at ALL the sporting events. Go Warriors!
I also love planning parties—something that comes in handy since my family owns a small event venue! Most of all, I enjoy spending time with friends and family.
I’m truly excited and honored to be a part of the JB Little team! ... See MoreSee Less
