Help me give a warm welcome to our new strings teacher, Mr. Boyd. He will be teaching strings at Little, Fitzgerald and Dunn. Welcome to Arlington ISD!!
Hello! My name is Clayton Boyd, and I am excited to be the new Strings teacher in your community. I am originally from Austin, TX, where I lived until I attended Baylor University for my undergraduate degree.
I began my musical studies with piano at the elementary level, then began exploring strings when I entered middle school. I am excited to join the community at JBL, and work with students around the age that I decided what my life path was. Music should be available and accessible to all!
In my free time, I enjoy exploring walking trails around the city, going antiquing, and enjoying the live music scene in the DFW area. I look forward to meeting everyone in the community very soon! ... See MoreSee Less

I absolutely love learning, growing as a leader, and helping others shine. When I’m not at school, you’ll most likely find me cheering on my two awesome children—Ryder (13) and Rayne (8)—at their games or activities, soaking up sunshine at the lake with family and friends, out for a run, or lost in a good audiobook.
