On March 7, University Christian Church will open the doors of our Prom Dreams Boutique for the spring season! The boutique will be open on Thursdays from 5:00pm-7:00pm from March 7 – May 9 and Sundays in April from 12:30pm – 2:30pm,and by appointment. We have rooms and closets filled with items for students to come “shop” (free of charge) for their prom dance or special formal event.

There are no requirements for using this ministry. Students do not need to have any church affiliation; this is simply a ministry providing dresses, shoes, purses and jewelry to those who need them. We know how special school dances can be for high school students, and we want to help make it a possibility for them to attend feeling confident and beautiful when otherwise they may not be able.
Thank you for any assistance you are able to give. If you have questions, please e-mail the ministry, Promdreams@uccftw.com, or contact Melanie Williams at 817-926-6631.

Juniors (11th graders) will take the SAT on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. It is VERY IMPORTANT that all juniors show up and test. Colleges and universities are starting to require students to have either an SAT test score or ACT test score. Even if a college has a test optional policy, a good SAT score can earn students additional academic scholarship money!

Collegeboard allows students to send their SAT scores to 4 colleges free of charge, Juniors need to know the 4 colleges, in which they want their scores sent, BEFORE March 6, 2024.

For more information, please contact your students counselor.
