🎾 **Colts Tennis Makes History!** 🎾
On **August 25**, our Varsity Colts Tennis team earned an impressive **13–6 victory over the Lamar Vikings**—their first win over Lamar in **25 years**! The victory moved the Colts to **2–0 in District 3-6A**. 💚

🌟 Ag Department/FFA Summer Update 🌟
The Arlington Ag Teachers and Arlington FFA students had an exciting and eventful summer!
This summer, Arlington FFA took a group of students to the 98th Texas FFA State Convention in Fort Worth. Alongside more than 20,000 FFA members from across Texas, our students attended leadership workshops, participated as voting delegates, helped conduct official organization business, and voted for the new State FFA officer team.
⭐ We are especially proud of Morgan Jones, AHS Class of 2026, who earned the prestigious State FFA Lone Star Degree—the highest FFA degree a high school student can earn in Texas. This honor recognizes Morgan’s commitment to agricultural education, supervised agricultural experiences, leadership, academic achievement, FFA involvement, and community service. Morgan is continuing that passion at Texas A&M University, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science.
🍎 National FFA Teacher Ambassador
We are also proud to announce that Mr. Smith was selected again as a National FFA Teacher Ambassador for the 2026–2027 school year! This summer, he trained at the National FFA Center in Indiana and joined fellow Texas ambassadors in presenting valuable classroom resources at the Texas FFA State Convention, the ATAT Professional Development Conference, and Tarleton State University.
