We are so proud of our Battle of the Books teams for 4th and 5th Grade! This past Saturday, our 4th grade team won a silver medal, and 5th grade won a bronze. They all worked really hard as individuals and as teams to read the battle books, meet for practice before school and during their lunch, and competed against 25 other schools in the district. How cool!!! I’m impressed they got to travel out of town. Those kinds of Field Trips used to have to have special permission granted from the higher-ups in the Central
Office during my AISD teaching days.
I hope they got to spend quite a bit of time in the Bob Bullock Museum as it is one of my favorite museums in the state. So many interesting Texas exhibits!!!!
What a great picture! Thank you for the opportunity to serve your students, teachers, and school on this Discover Texas Field Trip!
So cool (and a lot of jelly for the fifth graders that never got to do this awesome gig!)
