We are thrilled to announce the addition of Sarah Horn to our Kindergarten team at Mary Moore! Here is some information on this amazing educator.
Hello, Mary Moore Family!
My name is Sarah Horn, and I am so excited to join the Texan family as a member of the Kindergarten team! I previously taught Pre-K at a private school, before coming to AISD nine years ago. I have worked in Deaf Education, Audiology, and for the past two years, I taught 2nd Grade just down the street at Miller Elementary.
I grew up close by and actually graduated from Martin High School. After high school, I attended The University of North Texas where I graduated with a degree in Psychology with a minor in Speech and Hearing Sciences. I returned to school in 2018 to earn my teaching certification and have loved every minute of being back in the classroom full time! I enjoy working with the littles and helping spark their love of learning!
In my free time, I enjoy hanging out my family and friends. I have two nieces that I love to spoil! I also have a dog and a cat, and will soon be adding a new puppy to my family! I like coffee, playing cards and hiking. This summer I am looking forward to camping and reading by the pool!

We are thrilled that Kristen Dreyer will be a part of our Mary Moore family next year! Here is some information on this fantastic educator.
Hello, Mary Moore Family!
I am so excited to join the Texan community as a member of the Kindergarten team! I could tell right away that this is a special school filled with special people.
Fifth grade found me in a Kindergarten classroom during most recess periods and from that point on, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. Since graduating from Baylor, I have taught 3rd grade, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten for a total of 21 years. Spending days with young learners makes me happy.
Allan (my husband of 30 years) and I recently moved from Corpus Christi when he accepted a job with a private foundation that is converting a golf course into a working farm that will be open to the public for family outings, school field trips, and community events. Our son Rhys lives in Los Angeles and works for a music management company; in fact, he is currently traveling with a band on tour in Canada and the US. Our daughter Kate is a senior at Texas A&M in College Station and is majoring in agricultural communications and economics. Our younger daughter Emily has served as a state officer with Texas FFA this past year and will attend Baylor this fall. These four (and the dogs!) are my favorites.
My perfect weekend includes family and friends, a movie at the theater with popcorn and an Icee, a good game night with some friendly competition, or a play date with my 2-year-old friend Gray. I relax by reading, antiquing and junking, completing word and jigsaw puzzles, and walking. Now that we’re on a farm, I want to start a garden and establish beehives.
Again, I’m thrilled to join Mary Moore and partner with you to help your children grow academically, socially, and emotionally. It’s going to be a wonderful year! ... See MoreSee Less
