Before School

Students are allowed in the building at 8:00am

• Use restroom or visit office before entering cafeteria
• Enter cafeteria, get breakfast (if eating) and be
• seated
• Stay seated until dismissed
• Make ID visible
• Keep hands, feet and objects to self
• BYOT allowed

After School

• Visit restroom, if necessary
• Keep hands, feet and objects to self
• Go to your tutoring class, get on your bus, in your vehicle or walk home
• Exit the building and remain outside, or go to tutoring room no later than the 4:15 bell

As part of the Texas Education Code (Sec. 37.0012), all schools in Texas shall designate a Campus Behavior Coordinator whose primary responsibility is to maintain student discipline for the campus and be a contact for parents or guardians concerning individual student disciplinary actions by the school. The person designated may be the principal of the campus or any other campus administrator selected by the principal.

Shirts:

• Collared or Crew Neck
• Hunter Green or Navy Blue (Solid Colors Only)
• Shirts must have sleeves and cover the abdominal area.
• Shirts worn under the uniform:
  • White only
  • Cannot hang past the uniform shirt.
• All NJH and Lamar HS spirit and organization shirts are acceptable.

Sweatshirts:

• Crew Neck (No hood should be connected to sweatshirts)
• Hunter Green or Navy Blue (Solid Colors Only)
• All NJH and Lamar HS spirit and organization sweatshirts are acceptable.

 Pants/Shorts/Skirts:

• Khaki or Navy Blue (Solid Colors Only)
• No rips or tears allowed.
• Blue jeans or any “jean like” material bottoms are not acceptable.
• Shorts and skirts cannot be more than four inches above the knee.
  • Navy Blue or White leggings/tights are allowed under (Solid Colors Only)
  • SWEATPANTS, JEGGINGS or ATHLETIC SHORTS of any color are not acceptable.

Identification Badges: Scholars are to wear school identification badges at all times.

GENERAL

• All scholars must wear shoes. House shoes or slippers are not acceptable.
• Undergarments should not be visible at any time.
