2026-2027 Important Incoming Athlete Information
Information for Incoming Student-athletes:
Thank you for your interest in the Ousley Athletic Program. We are looking forward to meeting you! To be placed in the athletic class, you must take care of several items by the posted deadlines. Please make sure you join the sports you found at the bottom of this page. This will be where the majority of the communication takes place before August.
Participation:
Participation in the Athletic Program in AISD is a privilege, not a right, and, as such, students will be held to a higher standard than the general population. Therefore, the rules and guidelines established by the Ousley Coaches will be stricter than those outlined in the Student Code of Conduct and the school's policies. We are excited to have you in our Athletic Program. Please understand that this is a serious commitment that will require your best every day.
Requirements for Athletes entering Ousley:
You must have an AISD participation packet on file: Preparticipation Packet – Online Forms
- These will be available in the 3rd week of April or May.
- Please make sure you change the year on the forms, or they will not be recognized as a new season.
- The participation packet can only be completed online.
You must have a physical completed by a doctor.
- PHYSICALS – Due by Aug 1, 2026

- It is MANDATORY that your physical be completed and turned in by this deadline. You will not participate in athletics or play sports if this is not complete.
