What is family involvement you might ask? The National No Child Left Behind sets a guide and it simply states the following: The participation of parents in regular, two-way, meaningful communication involving student academic learning and other school activities. Our programs encourage parents to talk and work with their children regarding school life, show that learning activities can be fun and offer a variety of parent meetings throughout each semester to help provide support tools for your family. We strive to make Short Elementary a safe and comfortable place for both students and their families. Mark your calendar and plan to attend the events and parent meetings we have planned this year.
