I wanted to pass along some information about the Arlington Public Library's upcoming Discover Summer program occurring. At all seven library locations, June 1st from July 31st.
Discover Summer is their annual summer programming series and reading challenges for all ages, but especially children in teens to help foster educational success and to build continued reading and learning, even though they aren't in school. It's important to combat summer learning loss. Especially right now where children and teens collectively are going through a literacy and learning crisis. The Arlington Public Library can help step in during the summer months to help supplement learning that has taken place in school. Adults are also welcome to participate. Arlington, Public Library will have programs and challenges available for our adults as well.
