¡READING FOR EDUCATION LLEGA A WIMBISH!
¡Familias de Wimbish! Estamos muy emocionados de comenzar nuestro programa Reading for Education este jueves. 🎉
📅 ESTE JUEVES:
Su estudiante llegará a casa USANDO un lanyard (cordón) de Reading for Education con información e instrucciones sobre cómo participar.
💻 ¿Qué necesitan hacer los padres?
Sigan las instrucciones incluidas con los materiales de su estudiante para completar los pasos de participación en línea.
🎁 ¡Los estudiantes pueden recibir un premio de participación!
Después de completar los pasos, recibirán un código para el premio. Por favor, anote/proporcione el código según las instrucciones y haga que su estudiante regrese a la escuela usando su lanyard. ¡Nosotros nos encargaremos del resto!
⏰ El programa tendrá una duración de 2 semanas, así que las familias tendrán tiempo para participar.

READING FOR EDUCATION IS COMING TO WIMBISH!
Wimbish families, we are excited to begin our Reading for Education program this Thursday! 🎉
📅 THIS THURSDAY:
Your child will come home WEARING a Reading for Education lanyard with information explaining how your family can participate.
💻 What do parents need to do?
Follow the instructions provided with your child’s materials to complete the participation steps online.
🎁 Students can earn a participation prize!
After completing the steps, your child will receive a prize code. Please write/provide the code as instructed and have your child wear their lanyard back to school. We will take care of the rest!
⏰ The program will run for 2 weeks, so families will have time to participate.
Please be on the lookout for that special lanyard coming home Thursday! 👀📚

3rd and 4th graders created Milagros Hearts on Sarape Art in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. They learned about Mexican Folk Art, and learned that it’s often art techniques passed down and taught from family to family. They learned about weaving Sarapes and puncturing metal to create Milagros hearts. Students used metal paper to make their own corazons and yarn to make their own versions of sarapes. ...

Our students had so much fun making mooncakes to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival! 🥮✨
They participated in every step of the process, from preparing the dough to shaping their very own mooncakes. And when it was time to press the dough into the mooncake molds, the excitement was contagious! 😄
