Good afternoon Bailey family. Please help us welcome another new Ram member to our mob, Ms. Oliveira! Please read about her a little more below:

Hi! My name is Emanuelly Oliveira, and I am so excited to be joining the Bailey family for the 2026-2027 school year! I am Brazilian American and just recently moved from New Jersey to Texas to be closer to family! In my free time, one would probably find me playing pickup volleyball games, tending to my plants, or immersing myself in a good book. I will be teaching 7th-grade reading and coaching 7th-grade girls' volleyball, track and field, and soccer. Go Rams!

Bailey families we are excited to introduce you to our new counselor joining our crew! Please welcome Mrs. Ana Cruz. Read more about Mrs. Cruz below 👇🏻

I was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley and moved to Arlington six years ago. I earned both my Bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Psychology and my Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.

Before becoming a school counselor, I taught 8th Grade ELAR for four years and served as an Assistant Girls Coach for 7th and 8th grade athletics for three years. For the past four years, I’ve had the privilege of working as an elementary school counselor, helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

When I’m not at school, I enjoy reading, binge-watching TV series, and spending time with my family. My husband and I stay on our toes with our one-year-old son.

I’m beyond excited to be returning to Bailey as one of your school counselors. I can’t wait to meet everyone and support our students, families, and staff. Here’s to an amazing school year! 🐏❤️

One more welcome, but a familiar face to some! Bailey fam, welcome back Mrs. Allie Smith! Check out her bio below 👇🏻

I was born and raised in Arlington and am a proud Arlington ISD graduate, having attended Butler Elementary, Shackelford Junior High, and Lamar High School. I have always loved Arlington ISD, and I am thrilled to be returning to Bailey Junior High as an 8th grade math teacher!
My husband, Jordan, and I have two energetic daughters, Scarlett and Georgia, who bring so much joy to our lives and keep us on our toes. I recently took some time away from teaching to stay home with them while our family lived in Charleston, South Carolina. Returning to Arlington—and especially to Bailey—truly feels like coming home.
Math has always been one of my favorite subjects, and I even found math homework therapeutic! I love helping students discover that math is "figureoutable" and watching them grow into confident, critical thinkers and problem-solvers.
I am so excited to be back at Bailey and can't wait for a fantastic school year!
